If you would like to support our Marine and Navy people overseas, you can make a tax-deductible contribution to The USS Rankin Association and we will take it from there. Just send us a check and let us know that it is for "any Marine," or "any Sailor," or "any Soldier." Our own Dolly Crane will convert your money into merchandise and send it to a serviceman overseas. Details of what we do are at www.anysailor.com. The benefit to the serviceman is that he or she gets some needed material and support from the folks back home. The benefits to you are that your contribution qualifies as a charitable contribution on your Federal tax return, and that you don't have to go through the work and administrative effort of buying and mailing the material. If you have any special requests about what to do with your contribution, just send it along with your check. The people overseas particularly like to get letters from the states, so if you want to include a letter, just do so and we'll put it in the package.
